About You:

My husband and I have an independent production company and worked for two years writing, producing and directing a documentary we are independently distributing. We have several scripts we want to get backing to direct and are currently working with a theatre company teaching and directing. We are both creators and performers and have a myriad of skills, talents, knowledge and interests ranging everywhere inside the arts and sciences. We have both been leaders and teachers in our life and try to give a lot to others, but the problem is we've been giving so much of ourselves creatively, physically and emotionally without any real support or mentoring from anyone and now we are completely tapped out in every aspect of our life. We have suffered a major set back from putting everything we had (literally) into our documentary and taking the risk. We are very hard working, entrepreneurial, down-to-earth, enthusiastic and determined people dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in all that we do, but at this point we are in desperate need of someone to lean on and help us get back on our feet. I/we are looking for a charasmatic and grounded mentor who is experienced and established in the area of filmmaking who can be a caring friend, take us under their wing and offer advice and emotional support to help us establish our career and life.
