At FindAMentor, mentors are self-assessed. They believe they are qualified to mentor someone in the category they set up profiles in. We do not verify their qualifications. It is up to the mentee to verify their qualifications using the FindAMentor Mentor Questionnaire and by checking references, if they’re not sure about the person.
Finding a mentor is a personal experience. It is the responsibility of the mentee to find one that has ideas that fit for them in their present life situation.
Safety tips
- Never meet in person without telling someone who you’re meeting, why, and where.
- Don’t share personal information until you are convinced the other member is authentic and real — check references first when you can.
- Contact us if you think a member is fraudulent or scamming you.
- Contact us if you think the mentor or mentee is not qualified.
