About You:

I am an IT professional who has been working in the industry for almost 20 years. Having no formal education, I have always found my options for advancement to be limited. My career has seemed to find me in roles where my experience and skills have helped my superiors advance their careers, but, I seem to always stay right under them. I need to learn how to market myself as a strategist and a leader. I do the work, make the decisions and guide my departments with what seems to be little exposure. Maybe I am too humble, maybe I am too loyal to my bosses or maybe I just don't know how to show my value on paper or verbally.

Looking for:

I would like to pair up with someone who has been there. Someone who dug themself out of the trenches and became a valuable leader in their industry. I seek an IT professional who had the confidence and security to know their value and demand nothing less than their worth. Most importantly, someone to kick me in the ass and share their experiences, successes and failures and to guide me in the right direction.
