My name is Mohamed and I'm a finance student at Virginia Tech

About You:

I was born in New York, NY and I was raised in Bergenfield, New Jersey until I was 12. In high school, I played receiver and was being recruiting by a couple D1 schools until I tore my acl & mcl my junior year. During my junior year, I started to take school seriously and managed to get into Virginia Tech. That year I remember reading a book called rich dad poor dad and I instantaneously became very interested in financial literacy and becoming financially independent in order to create options for myself. I asked a family friend for an unpaid internship at his accounting company and he eventually hired me as a full time accounting clerk after 3 months of solid work. Then I did an internship at The Federal Reserve Board this past summer in the Banking Supervision & Regulation division.
