About You:

I am a 26-year-old professional seeking a mentor who can guide me through the corporate learning process. I currently work as a Proposal Manager for a pharmacy benefit company. Last year, I was promoted to the position (youngest person in my company to achieve the title, and after only one year as a Proposal Coordinator). I have enjoyed learning and growing with my company, but I am now yearning for other avenues (Marketing Manager or Product Manager). I currently spend 8-10 hours a day at my computer, along with the occasional weekends. I believe in hardwork, not only for external praise, but also for internal satisfaction. I am extremely driven, and want to be a part of my company's success. My previous positions enabled direct marketing at tradeshows and events, which was very fulfilling, and something I would like to incorporate into my future position. Right now I am focusing on learning, and need help to determine how best to proceed to achieve my goals.

Looking for:

I would like to find a mentor to guide me through the career/company transition process. My goal is to find a position as a Product Manager or a Market Manager, in the medical device field. I also seek someone who can assist with career perspective and the understanding of work/life balance.
