looking for a mentor for my son

About You:

My son is a 17 year old high school drop-out who has had some problems with anger management in the past. He has been dis-owned from his father and I (his mother) have been doing everything in my power to try to get him back on the right track. He has shown an intrest in becoming a cadet at the Florida youth Challenge program but I am having a hard time trying to find a mentor for him. (required before acceptance)

Looking for:

I am looking for someone who will be a positive influance in his life. He has been delt a very difficult hand early in life and I want him to be and feel like a productive member of society. His outlook on life right now is very grim and he needs a friend willing to challenge him to be all that he can be. James is a very smart child but I feel he lacks alot of people/relationship skillls due to the very difficult upbringing he has had.
