About You:
I am an American who completed a B.A. in Germany, and am now doing a one year master's degree in the UK. I was rejected from all but one PhD program of the 7 or so I applied to, and my funding situation looks bleak. My parents are being unsupportive and despite the fact that I have work experience, a high level of education, international experience, and speak two foreign languages, I feel completely incompetent and like my life is crumbling around me.
Looking for:
I am looking for a mentor who is preferably older and/or far calmer than I am and can help me put things into perspective and offer guidance, support, and advice on where to go and what to do from here at the most difficult part of my life.
