I have this amazing voice but don't know where to start

About You:

I come from a long line of singers. My grandparents on my dads side were in the church choir, my grandparents on my mothers side were singers. My mother was a popular singer out of the Bay Area and my dad has a good voice. I was blessed with a very versatile, engaging voice. Unfortunately, I do not know what to do with it. I can write music and I can sing but I am lost at what I should do to show off my singing ability. Where do I start? How do I network with other musicians and make music? I would like to find a mentor who can help me develop my sound and gain the courage to show off my talent. I'm extroverted when it comes to building relationships but I'm a closed in type when it comes to showing off.

Looking for:

A musician or singer who knows the industry. I can be impatient but I understand that things take time so I would like to work with the person who is willing to prep me as much as necessary.
