My name is Mason Sykes, I am 19 years old. I have been studying REI the past 2 weeks and have learned investing from Short Closes to Tax Lien. Now I am on a search to find someone with knowledge and experience, so that I can apply it to myself. I don't have anyone that I am familiar with in the business I want to pursue. I have tried many other sites and e-mails to find a mentor. I will not stop till I do!
About You:
I am 19 years old, live in Bonney Lake Washington, and have a definite purpose. Ever since I was younger I always knew what I didn't want, I always wondered why things worked how they did and why everyone was listening to other people telling them how to live. Especially when I 'wasn't keeping up' to other peoples standards. After high school I knew college wasn't for me, I began participating in an MLM and did well in it. After a few months of work in that I opened my own landscaping business, it wasn't certified, but it definitely held an income for an active 19 year old like myself. But I knew that this wasn't my only source of income or should it be my true profession. Then I started learning more about investments and the opportunities in real estate. After reviewing, I found that wholesaling real estate is what I am most interested in, of course I like them all, but lets perfect them one at a time! Right? All I can think about is gaining more knowledge but I am running out of resources. I know what life I want to live and know the ability I have to change others lives because of the life of my own. I know where I will be regardless of the route, but I also know I will arrive at my destination a lot faster with a map instead of following street signs. I am ready.
Looking for:
An experienced, successful wholesaling investor to receive advice from. Even if it is any REI advice, it will be appreciated immensely. I want to know road blocks, feelings, personal paths to success. Anything to help me grow. I appreciate you reading this. "Lets get it!"
