How to get the beast to open itself up to a late starter

About You:

Hello, I am Adrienne Douglas. I was a a student at NVCC, majoring in criminal justice. I am looking to get back into my studies since I have 5 courses left. I will also pursue higher education at university to obtain my bachelors in criminology, law & society and hopefully from there, move onto my masters in the same field. In the meantime I would like to gain hands on experience within the criminal justice field to gain the relevant experience. I find it very hard and frankly boiling down to where to start. Since things are changing, it is becoming harder to get my foot in the door. I love working with the at risk youth. Ultimately working for the FBI would great as well.

Looking for:

I am looking for a mentor that can guide me in my career path. Where do I begin if you have been there? How did you get there and what did you have to sacrifice to get to where you are?
