Introductory Phrase:
I'm the endearing coworker that helps everyone out, but shy's away from confrontation & angry people
About You:
I get overwhelmed with too many options, that's why I can't figure out what career path to take. I've already tried a few job types: librarian, big-oil technical servicing, telecommunications, tutoring college students, daycare teacher, modeling, graphic design, fast food, administrative assistant, etc. I really like helping to find efficient methods to make jobs easier. Several of my "How To"s and "User Guides" that I created for myself & coworkers are still in use at previous jobs. I learned Excel Visual Basic at my last job to make quicker reports. I don't do well being left alone. I need to be interacting with coworkers on a regular basis or else I fall into a depression working alone in an office everyday. I work hard, and am willing to do overtime. I cannot handle angry people/confrontation/yelling because I freeze up and turn into a bubbling child (childhood issues I can't get over). I'm also not very good at small talk socializing. Got a degree in English (concentration in Technical Writing) and a minor in Drawing. Can't do graphic design or web design full time, but I don't mind doing a little here & there. Would prefer an administration job. Although an aunt said I'd be a good nurse b/c I like helping people, I'm very patient & I'm very nice.
Looking for:
A mentor to help me find a career path in life. Someone to ask me lots of questions to narrow down my options.
