About You:
Hello, I'm a writer who works for a federal agency. I have spent eight years in the federal government making relatively lateral career moves. I recently completed a master's program in communications and want to move into a communications leadership position. However, I am inexperienced in this area and feel unsure of what my next steps should be. I also struggle with feelings of inadequacy in a changing communications industry where I feel I would need to hold several positions simultaneously that allow me to touch on the desirable skills needed to advance. I would prefer to stay in the federal government, but I am open to opportunities in other areas.
