About You:

I'm a mother of three, wife of one, and all around workaholic 45+ hours/week. I have a BA in Communications. I've written 2 full-length screenplays (one of which was in the top 25% of the 2011 PAGE Awards competition), 1 short script, 1 young adult novel, 300 pages into a mystery novel, multiple short stories and poems. I have an affinity for tragedy. I firmly believe that a good heart wrenching on occasion can cleanse your soul. I like it that way, and you may find that you do, too. Nothing makes me happier than a reviewer on writing.com saying that they are typing through tears. I take characters and weave plots through them. I've been building a portfolio, but ready to reach for my real dream. Very personable and upbeat.

Looking for:

I'm in search of a traditionally published author of 2 or more books (no vanity press authors please) or a professional screenwriter to get together every couple of months and show me what I haven't read in numerous books already about what it's really about working in the industry. Located in Massachusetts. Would love it to be someone within 3 hours driving distance - free lunches would be on tap, as well as a mentioning in an Oscar speech or my novel's preface should I make it to the Big Show :D.
