35 Year Old Male living in Minneapolis, MN. Own a flooring business as well as an ecommerce business. Looking to broaden my knowledge.

Looking for:

I have interest in learning the liquidation/store returns/scratch and dent etc business. More specifically purchasing for resale. I am also interested in learning more about the localized online auction business. I\'ve had interest in getting involved with purchasing store returns and overstock for resale for quite sometime. My goal is to ultimately buy these types of items and then to resell them on my own local auction website. By local I mean an auction site that just lists items in my general metropolitan area. I would also grow the auction sites membership base and then eventually start auctioning items for other individuals, schools, cities, estate sales etc. My thoughts are that people wouldn\'t want to list their stuff for sale when an auction site is first starting out due to them taking the risk of selling very low. So what I would like to do is to sell my own items until the sites user base builds. At that point i\'d either consider continuing to sell my own items or to then just have it be auction website that does this for others while paying me a percentage for allowing them to list their stuff on it. I would sincerely appreciate any help that anyone could give.
