I have been an office manager in furniture retail for 5 years, so I have a good grasp of business books. The financial manager of the restaurant passed away, and I have been asked to take over. I need to understand food and labor costs and marketing strategies as they pertain to small local restaurants. I want to help the chef/owner make the business more successful.
