About You:

I am a trained and experienced professional working in the technology field. With diplomas in marketing and electronics, as well as certificates in technical writing and radio-television broadcasting, I have a diverse and flexible skill set that offers an array of opportunities upon which I know I can build. I have always found my interests fairly balanced between both technical and creative pursuits, but the majority of my 14 year post-secondary career has been more technical. I am passionate, eager, and open-minded and receive coaching and constructive criticism with grace. I have a lot of potential to grow beyond my current framework and need some experienced guidance to help me bring some order to the chaos.

Looking for:

The long-term aim on the horizon is to help people through my skills and interest in self-development through speaking, writing, and whatever else provides value aligned with that vision. This, however, is several steps ahead on my path. I have been, and continue to be, successful in battling addiction and my path may lead me to help people with this specifically. As a first step, however, it's important for me to know how to use communication to provide value to others, so I have chosen to start a business in writing. I have some training and experience with technical writing, and also have interest in offering services in email composition, blog writing, marketing writing, and perhaps producing presentations. My personal development work is proving helpful but I lack the objective guidance required to help stabilize my decisions and actions and allow them to gain forward momentum. I hope to find a mentor interested in helping me to put each successive piece of this puzzle together and get my business started.
