About You:

I just turned 28, I have been a bi-lateral below knee amputee (lost both my legs) since Aug 2013 and have been learning that my story and challenges can be used to inspire and help other people with their own hardships. I am a spiritual person, a strong communicator, and have a decent grasp on interpersonal communication and self-help topics. I have experience with recovery from substance abuse from my early 20s. I have experience overcoming difficulties with family members, significant others, and friends. I am seeking career mentors but would be very grateful for the opportunity to share my experience and lend an ear to anyone who is going through a difficult time or just wants someone to help keep them on an even keel. Really my forte is with interpersonal relationships and communication issues. Feel free to ask me anything. I don't judge. I look forward to hearing from some of you so we can share stories!
